About ecology
Ecology is the study of how living things interact with each other and with the places they live.
Ecologists study food webs, energy flow, populations and communities, and how ecosystems respond to change.
Topics include population dynamics and predator-prey models, trophic cascades and keystone species, primary production and the carbon cycle, and biodiversity loss in a changing climate.
